- Hello David. I use a Zip drive on an Amiga3000. (A2091 controller I
- assume ?) I find that I must use the eject button to eject a disk. The
- Zip Tools software eject button makes noises in the Zip but the disk
- won't eject until 4 or 5 tries. However closing the scsi mounter
- program will allow ejection of the Zip in software, and I therefore
- assume that the Zip tools is not sending the eject command to the Zip
- but only the shut down motor command ?? Maybe the controller has
- something to do with limiting the command stream to the Zip ?? I
- obviously have no idea what I am talking about, but rest assured that
- my observations are valid if this is of any help to you ? I will be
- interested to know if anyone has further enlightennemt on this
- subject.
